Africa Must Unite
Association for the Advancement of Africa, Inc. is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Nonprofit Organization is aimed at continuing the vision of our forefathers who believed that the survival of Africa depended upon the unity of Africa.  We believe that the African Diaspora, especially our young people, be they Millennials or Baby Boomer progeny, must be empowered by creating opportunities that give them center stage in redefining and engaging in the unity of Africa for the preservation of her people.  The African Union is taking the lead; you must play your part.  We strongly hold to the view that The greatness of Africa is only found in its ability to UNITE as one people, with one currency, one monetary system, one military, a liberating economic system, one federal government.  We need to move toward a more expansive view that people can have multiple nations united as one with open boarders and that nations can share a single person. The African Union, with its VISION 2063, is taking the lead: Will you play your part, AFRICAN OF THE DIASPORA?

The Reconstruction of Africa's Identity is a Continental Imperative.

A Distinct Identity

Who We Are

The Association for the Advancement of Africa is a U.S.-based, non-profit, and nonpartisan organization. It is the intent of this organization to help first-generation Africans assimilate into American society while aiming at strengthening and enhancing the fundamental relationship between Africans of the Diaspora and Africa.

The Association develops programs and affiliates with local, national, and international universities, organizations, and agencies to further an understanding of the African cultures, issues, and processes, while providing information to African immigrants concerning education, economics, health, culture, science and technology, immigration, women's issues, and bilateral relationships, all with the goal of the unification of Africa.

Our Mission

The mission of this Association is to mobilize and unite Africans of the Diaspora, Africans in Africa, and all friends of Africa to address the cultural, economic, educational, civic, immigration, health, scientific, and social needs of African societies, domestic and international.
